Here we go.

NIPPON

KMHD and I identify ourselves, at times, as culturally Japanese.  Our stepmother, from Yokosuka, Kanagawa, raised us when we were small children through most of our teenage years.  I have an extended family there.  One of my closest friends is from there.  Even though I've never been to Japan, I feel a tremendous connection with her.  My heart just aches for  her people who are suffering greatly right now.

Please, I beg you, make a donation to Doctors Without Borders to aide in their quest to help those in immediate need.

You can also text "REDCROSS" to 90999 to send $10 for relief efforts in Nippon.  Domo-Arigato.

Also, there's no harm in making your own earthquake preparedness kit.   Be prepared, be diligent!
